When is the Concerto Competition?

This will take place on the 28th of May this year, just before the main Festival period.

If my child wins a cup, will they be in the Gala Showcase?

Not necessarily; there are many more winners than there are places in the Gala Showcase. Read more about the Gala Showcase.

How soon will I know when my child is playing?

We aim to let you know around 25th March.

My child can only play on certain days. Please will you fit them in?

With over 900 entries, we cannot promise particular days or times, though we’ll do our best to avoid clashes between Festival classes.

How do I attend the Festival as an audience member?

You can just turn up at any of our venues and pay £3 for a programme, which will allow you to attend over two hundred Festival classes. Note, this does not include Rock, Pop and Urban which is managed separately by Reigate College.

How do I attend the Concerto Competition as an audience member?

You are welcome to come along to Dunottar School, where we’ll sell you a programme for £3, which you can use throughout the Festival.

How do I buy tickets for the Gala Showcase?

Information about the Gala Showcase will be available soon on our Home Page.

Can I get my trophy engraved?

Yes, trophy winners are welcome to have their trophy professionally engraved if they wish to.

When do I return my trophy?

Trophies should be returned by the 1^st of March. Our Trophies Secretary contacts all trophy holders in February each year with the return details. If your contact details change after you win the trophy, or if you have any questions about trophy return please get in touch: trophies@rrfestival.org
